This does seem a bit crazy, considering the AppleCare on a top of the 
line G5 is only $249.

Good GRIEF!!!  I'd not bothered to check and see what AppleCare would 
cost for the iPod Shuffle.  It's insane to charge $59 on a $99 item, 
and it still costs  the same for the top of the line iPod!?!?

Now $59 would be a reasonable price to charge for the Mac Mini 
Applecare.  They need to start asking a more reasonable 10% the price 
of the product for AppleCare.
