[X4U] Ipodshuffle

Am I correct in thinking that there is absolutely no reason that the 
iPod Shuffle can be used as a flash drive (since, of course, that is 
what it is...)?

I have been putting off purchasing a flash drive, waiting for a good 
deal...but can't wait much longer.  I already have an iPod...but if the 
iPod Shuffle can serve the purpose of a flash drive, and offer the 
features of the iPod as well then...well..sshy not?

Any ideas?
