Netscape Preferences>Navigator>Helper Applications

If application/pdf is already listed, select it and click the Edit...
Button. If not you can click the New Type... button. However, if that is the
case, it's easier to just click on a link to a PDF and let Netscape ask you
what you want to do with it. From there, you can choose Adobe Reader 7 and
check the box to use it by default.
