Syncing bookmarks via .Mac does exactly what its words describe. It synchronizes your bookmarks for every computer that you choose to sync. Every computer you use would have the exact same bookmarks (in Safari only) Since your bookmarks bar is part of your bookmarks, that is included. How it works is that you first choose one computer to sync, and the bookmarks from that machine are uploaded to the .Mac server space. When you set another machine to sync, it will download the bookmarks from .Mac and overwrite the existing file. Any changes you then make from the second machine are uploaded to .Mac and then downloaded from .Mac to the first machine, etc. This is also true for the address book. You requested that your work addresses be copied to your home computer but not vice versa. That is not syncing, that is copying. You can do that manually. Maybe an AppleScript could be written to make it a scheduled process. Maybe one is already available.
