I use a USB Microphone on a via voice USB Mic headset and separate headphones. Something is wrong with the Skype preferences or the Mac Panther sound preferences that won't let me hear from the USB Headset. I have to use an analog input headset to hear the other person. I have an analog mic headset that won't work on the mic input. So far I must use separate USB Mic AND an analog input headset to have the full effect. The PowerBook built in mic is very poor fidelity on the other end and in a noisy coffeehouse it can be a problem for the other person to hear you at all. k On Jan 20, 2005, at 6:26 AM, silvo conticello wrote: >> Is ones voice markedly better using a microphone or is the in-built >> mike adequate?
