Not only do I like the "separate programs" paradigm better, I really don't like the idea that I can't kill a widget easily if needed. I really don't understand why the code that potentially has the most bugs was tied to a bit of the OS (the Dock) that really needs to be bug free and I would consider to be a critical part of the OS. The only thing I really like about Dashboard is the new programming capabilities it allows (writing apps in Javascript and HTML for instance). The rest seems to old-school Desk Accessory to me. -Mike
