I'd be *VERY* surprised if Apple hasn't continued to do builds on x86 over the years. Remember the original copies of Rhapsody ran on x86, not PPC. For people worried about Developers, and Apple supporting multiple architectures, it's also worth remembering that NeXTstep/OPENSTEP supported Quad-Fat binaries that could be run on 68k, x86, Sparc, and PA-RISC.
