Thanks for clarifying that. I thought there was nothing really "protecting" cookies from being read and was wondering if was left to the browser to handle security. Now I may have to go take another look at Tiger's new permissions scheme and see if there's a way to limit Read status of a file not only to a given user, but also to a specific program or programs. I probably wouldn't worry about using it, just like to know what can be done. -Mike
