I did do the 10.4.1 update, which didn't fix my problem. I am  
wondering if I should have done an Archive and Upgrade instead of  
just upgrading directly to Tiger?

One thing I have yet to try is doing a reset of my data on the .Mac  
side. I guess at this point I have little to loose by doing so.
