[X4U] Sluggish browsers since updates of OSX

[V Silly]

Hi folks,
Since the last couple of OSX updates my internet performance has been 
horribly slow, constantly bogging down to the point of having to 
force quit.

This is in both Safari or IE...

I have tried trashing all prefs and dumping caches, no avail.

Seems to help somewhat if I turn off Javascript, but not that much....

Anyone know what might be going on?
