[X4U] Publisher files on Mac

I have VPC and when I tried to install Publisher it stalled looking for 
some obscure M$ Office file, so I'm not sure just having VPC and 
Publisher will do the trick. If I am incorrect, or my experience is an 
anomaly, will someone please advise? TIA.
