I just talked to Electronic Office--man said the technician had been running memory tests on my iMac "all day" and had found nothing so far. He's going to leave it running all nite; said he "suspects non-Apple RAM", (which they installed when I bought the computer). I'm to call back in the a.m. Is there something specific I should ask about if the memory tests still show nothing (if no test can be completely thorough, as Randy S. said)?? Is it possible that they haven't taken that RAM out (as Doug F. suggested) to see if it still gets kernel panics? Jackie Flenner varney at mindspring.com
