[X4U] Copying from Classic Failed

When I run Classic -- usually QuarkXPress 4.1 or Nisus Writer 6.5 -- I sometimes get an error message: "The clipboard could not be copied from Classic to OS X. ..." (Wording may not be exact, but it's similar.)

Often this will be accompanied with slowdowns in keystroke response in Eudora or other programs.

Does anyone know what the deal with this is?
