[X4U] iDisk authorization question

In the past when I needed to post images to a website forum I would 
place the files in my Public folder on iDisk and then include the 
appropriate URL to point to that file.

I need to do this again and now notice that the files don't 
automatically load up - instead, I get a dialog box asking for my 
username and password.  This means the images are unviewable to any 
visitors.

Has something recently changed in the way iDisk works that changes what 
I was used to doing before?
