That's a good thought, but I'm still listed as Admin in the Accounts preferences pane on the host (the laptop), and I did a couple of things that require admin access on the laptop and they worked fine after authenticating me as admin. I should have stated that when I connect, it's as a registered user using the admin (and only) user on the laptop. Thanks, Brian
