[X4U] Virtual Memory Size after Tiger Upgrade

Has anyone else noticed their Virtual memory usage sky-rocket after
switching to Tiger? I didn't realize it until today, but I'm sitting
at 12GB Virtual, and 1.39 Physical used right now. With what I've
been running, I really shouldn't be much more than about 8GB VM.

Is this due to my upgrading to Tiger, or because I upgraded my system
disk from the stock 160GB drive to a 300GB drive? I am noticing that
just the kernel is now taking 1.23GB VM!
