Jim,

I would suggest reinstalling the drivers. That was my solution for my
NEC SuperScript 4200N (really nice color laser).

Additionally, I had to redefine all my presets for both the NEC and
Epson Photo 780 (that driver has, apparently, been supplanted by GIMP).

Oddly, the NEC prints quicker under Tiger, but printing to the Epson has
slowed noticeably (about the only thing I notice being slower under
Tiger...most things are the same, a few are faster).
