[X4U] Duplicate a CD fails

Pre-Tiger I could make a copy of a mounted CD to a desktop folder with a
simple duplicate command. Now that attempt results in a message "Sorry the
operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred (Error
code -8058)."

I am having the same experience on two different PowerBooks (AL 1.25 and
1.67) with both commercial and self-burned discs.

Is this experience unique to me? Is there a fix?
