> DO NOT have them transferred to DVD. Have them transferred to DV > tape. Then import it yourself from a DV camera. Most consumer DV cameras use "mini-DV", which is itself heavily compressed. Going directly to DVD will probably result in much _less_ compression. If you are trying to get beyond consumer-grade stuff, expect to spend $$$. Craig
