I agree with kp; AppleWorks has issues in Tiger.  For example, if I open
either of my frequently-used AppleWorks database documents and type into any
field in any record, it crashes.  I did the reinstall and reupdate.

I've sent a bug report to Apple.  After updating to 10.4.1, the problem
still remains.  It's broken.  I suppose I should call AppleCare and make
them tell me whether they are going to support AppleWorks in Tiger or not,
but I have not gotten around to it.
