[X4U] Aperture as sleazy Apple hardware marketing ploy

Steve,

Try copying the URL <http://www.apple.com/aperture/binary/ 
Aperture_Checker.dmg>
Then open the Download window in Safari, and paste the URL into the  
Download window. It worked for me, although I had a Page Not Found  
earlier.
