[X4U] Tiger G5 bug???

I Just got my dual G5 2.3 haven¹t even got it out of the box yet. Tonight!
On another list I¹m on someone had the same machine and it melted after 3
weeks. I mentioned this to the salesperson and they said there was a known
issue with Tiger that doesn¹t occur on all machines but it results in the
machine slowing down and you getting the spinning beachball a lot. She was
vague but said that if you ³check some of the Mac lists² there is a fix.
Does anybody know anything about this?
