[X4U] Importing address books from Eudora and Thunderbird

When I backed up my PC, prior to buying a iMac, I copied the address
books from Eudora and Thunderbird to a CD.  But I can't import either of
them to Mail.
The format of the address books are, in Eudora  .toc, .txt and .mbx.  In
Thunderbird they are in .mbx format.
Can anyone advice me how to proceed.  Mail gives me an error message to
the affect that they are not in Vcard or dot limited psv format.
