If you need to spend $3,300 on a quad core Mac then you're running
serious software. 512MB might as well be 8MB. If it shipped with the
right amount of RAM, then it would have cost $5,000. At least this way
folks can pick their own chips from their own vendors and not pay
Apple's ridiculous markup on it.
