[X4U] Large Files and General OS X System Programming

Our shop has a package of programs we would like to convert to OS X.x but we 
are having problems with GUI migration and, particularly, file handling. 
(We commonly have input file sets and outfile sets spanning over 100 GB. 
That's abunch of 2 GB files to handle.)

Anybody know of a good OS X programmer who might give us a hand?  Perhaps 
even a student who wants some extra cash?
