Why do people CONTINUE to write things like this?

Do you believe that Apple is moving toward becoming an OS company and  
NOT a hardware company; or even primarily an OS company?

Do you think they want to get entangled in the mess of trying to  
provide an OS that is STABLE AND COMPATIBLE across a monsterously  
complex compatibility grid the likes of which M$ currently has to  
deal with?
