[X4U] Sound pref pane icon incorrect

I just noticed that in the System Preferences, the icon for the Sound  
preferences is not displaying properly - instead of the little  
speaker, it appears to be part of the lightswitch with speaker in the  
corner.

I've tried repairing permissions, and rebooting, but that didn't fix it.

Any ideas?

My concern is that this might be a small symptom of something bigger.
