I've been using Verizon's wireless broadband service with my PowerBook 15-inch, and it works fine. Was even able to use it while stuck on the runway at Charlotte. Verizon's service is 1xRTT/EVDO. The card I'm using with the service is a Sierra Wireless 5220. I know that they are also shipping a 560 card with the service. For me, the big upside was that I popped the card into the PCMCIA slot and it immediately worked. I didn't have to install any additional drivers. I haven't had that same experience using this card with a Dell laptop. Cingular and Sprint also have broadband wireless services, but I haven't tried using those. Fred
