My husband has experienced this problem occasionally with his TiBook  
1Ghz running Panther.8, but I have not experienced it with my TiBook  
667Mhz under Panther or Tiger.  He never has any external mice  
attached, but sometimes has an external firewire hard drive  
attached.  However, there doesn't seem to be any reliable pattern to  
when/why this happens to his TiBook.
