[X4U] iPod question

If you hit the center button once while the track is playing, you can
scroll through the track using the wheel. Of course you can't hear it
while it's scrolling so I don't know if it will help you in the end.
Also, mine seems to have the behavior of progressively getting faster
as I hold the FF button down.

Actually, that just got me thinking ... so I did a little test. It
seems that for a "normal" length song (5 min) it will progressively
seek faster and faster as I hold down the FF button, but for a 30 min
podcast it seeks at a consistent speed of about 20 sec. I suspect
it's because the 5 min song fits entirely into cache while the 30 min
podcast does not.

HTH,
matt.
