[X4U] Network Printer Problem

My buddy Brian is having this problem - I asked him to check his printer
sharing prefs ... Beyond that - any ideas?

2 Postscript printers connected to router. Computers connected to
router.  OS X 10.3.8 all around.

G5 can see the printers; G4 can see the printers, laptop G4 sees NO
printers.  laptop G4 DOES see other computers on the network, and is
connected to the internet.  The only thing missing is the printers.
Even plugging the printer directly into the laptop (ethernet) does not
make the printer show up.

Repaired permissions, still nothing.  I am baffled!
