[X4U] RE: laptop connected now

I'd better clarify this in case someone else runs into the same problem. I wasn't trying to connect an iBook. I was connecting a Pismo G3. This is the oldest laptop out there that can run Tiger but I have decided to leave Panther on it. 

An interesting note. I am connecting the 5-year-ole laptop to the internt through a fairly new PC desktop running Windows XP. The little laptop runs on the internet much, much faster than the PC even with the dial up it's not like pulling teeth. Cindy
