[X4U] MacBook Pro: use Setup Assistant from PowerBook G4?

I just bought my MacBook Pro. I was about to run the setup assistant when I
realized that it's loaded with Intel Binaries of many apple applications. I
would guess that Setup Assistant isn't smart enough to know to leave the
Intel Binaries in place if I use it to migrate my Applications folder from
the older laptop.

Does anyone know?
