It is not software emulation. that's funny. i've configured two dozen macbook pro laptops so far. some of the users wanted boot camp...some wanted parallels...a few who listened took both. there's no way to compare the two. boot camp (booting into windows) is without a doubt faster than parallels. anyone stating otherwise hasn't compared the two. it's not a good idea to pass along information withtout verifying the source - or verifying the info itself. parallels is going to make heros of alot of sysadmins who provide/support it for their mac clients who need to run windows applications...um, unless citrix is available at the company. ;) don -- don montalvo, nyc curmudgeon at large
