When I attempted to calibrate it before I got a message saying the monitor could not find the devise. I have since found out I cannot do anything about that till I get a new Mac. I can still calibrate the monitor the way I did my old one, using MonacoOptix and calibrating by manually adjusting r-g-b- brightness and contrast. The Eizo has a system that automatically sets these for you. You still use the Monoco hardware, but connect the Eizo monitor so the computer can send signals to it (uplink usb). I have to use analog, not dvi connection with my old g4 mac, and the uplink only works with dvi. SO, the monitor looks great now. I will have a new Mac within the year and the problem will be solved then.
