[X4U] iWork => Pages 2 = Slow

Has anyone noticed that Pages 2 is slower than the original? If I  
turn on View => Show Layout and  View => Show Ruler it becomes  
unusable.  Granted, I don't have the most up-to-date Mac (10.4.4, G4  
DP 1000, 1.5GB of RAM), come on Apple... I've tired dumping the pref  
file, shutting down apps and its still runs like a snail.  Photoshop  
CS2 runs faster even when I'm editing a RAW file.
