[X4U] No AppleWorks on intel iMacs?

   All signs point to AW being a lame duck.  Also, if one is considering 
   purchasing an Office set of programs, it should be noted that not many 
   other programs can open and work with AW format files.  (Though Dataviz's 
   converters handle some AW files.)

AppleWorks is great for kids in K-12 range.  It is simple enough that
I can (and did) teach it to 5 year olds yet it has enough features to
carry through high school.

Would I use it for my main office W.P.?  No.  But it's great for other
purposes.
