Right-click on Finder.app and choose Show Package Contents

No, Spotlight doesn't show any results from /System

I typed "bookmark
and the results included Bookmark Feb-April.pdf

When I typed "book
that file did not show up in the results.

So you don't need the whole filename, just a whole word in the filename.
