All that being true, and I firmly believe it is, why would Apple make 
such a foray into melding the PC with the Mac?

Wouldn't making the Mac more and more PC-like open the door to also 
making it more and more vulnerable to intrusion of viruses and worms and 
the like?

Just curious...
