I read a "best of" article in MacWorld and they recommended the 5th gen
version of the Speck Toughskin.  I'm pleased with it so far.

That has thick rubber that offers great protection from accidental drops.
It also protects the screen, but not the clickwheel, so I also got the film.
The 4th gen version of the Toughskin had a plastic clickwheel cover that you
had to open to use, but the new version left out that cover so you can
install film and not have to open anything to access the controls.

I already got a scratch on the enter button in the short time I had the
iPod.  That's why I ordered the film.
