[X4U] control click de-selects

in folders ON the desktop.

I'm pretty sure the control key is just fine; the problem is  
sporadic...I can use Control Click elsewhere with no problem.

Yes: control and not command..believe me, I looked at the keyboard to  
make sure myself when the trouble began!
