[X4U] iTunes and adding tunes

I know I've done this before, but not workin for me now..

I have a bunch of tunes I grabbed with stream ripper, and want to  
play them in iTunes..whether I "Add" or drag and drop, only 5 songs  
wind up showing as transferred, and these look like bumpers from the  
radio stream..

any hints?
