What do you mean by "useful operation" I have an iMac DV (1999), a PowerBook 1400cs, (1997), a PowerMac 7200 (1995) and an old Centris 610 (1993) that are all still useful in their own way. I also have an Macintosh SE that's been converted into a fishbowl and I suspect the fish find it quite useful. I admit that last one doesn't really count as far as your statement goes but it just goes to show you that there's always a use for an old Mac.
