I have a 10- or 11-year-old LaserWriter 16/600 and it predates USB by quite a bit. My own LaserWriter is connected to our network via ethernet, using an adapter that translates from the old connector on the printer to 10-base T. It works fine. He might try just doing a custom reinstalation of printer drivers from the OS 9.0.4 system CD. How did he have it connected before he tried "USB" (I don't believe USB is possible at all with this printer, so I don't know what he is actually using.) Daly
