[X4U] iPhoto 6 don't import anymore

Hello, has someone ever had the same problems with iPhoto 6? It can't  
import photos anymore from a folder. It used to before...before I  
didn't change anything. IPhoto just hangs there beachball running  
fast. I have to force quit it. The problem occurs 3 out of of 4  
times. Usually a reboot does the job but it's not the way to go with  
iPhoto. Any clues?
