Hello, Start at www.macweb3d.org. Pay attention to the SimVRML link. Cortona is the only commercial viewer and is made by the Russians. The Germans (Blaxxun) have some sort of Applet. Then go to www.web3d.org and you will eventually find all the stuff on macweb3d.org plus comments that you are living in the past and really need to graduate to X3D. X3D viewers on the Mac need Java3D. There are references on this site. So, now you need to create VRML. Use the free stuff (www.blender.org) or use a commercial modeler. The best are Carrara, Amapi and Lightwave for VRML export (blender also ranks as a best exporter). The only Mac OS X VRML only authoring tool is AxelEdge from mine Avenue. If you use Boot Camp, the BEST VRML and X3D authoring tool is VizX3D under WindowsXP. VRML authoring is for people that need to create dynamic and simulation compatible VRML scenes. Buy "Core Web3D". I forget the authors name. John F.
