[X4U] "Find" highlighted color in Preview...any way to change?

I'm able to change the highlight color in PDF documents by using the  
MacOS X "Appearance" pane in System Preferences. Maybe something is  
hosed with your System Preferences such as the plist file if you  
can't change the highlight color in other apps as well.
