For anybody else who might be interested, I found a shortcut for  
accessing the gameday audio and/or mlbtv archives.

When you go to "schedule" from the narrow badwidth site (also  
probably work form the www.mlb.com regular homepage), you get an url  
ending in today's date:

http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/schedule/index.jsp#20060508

Simply go to the url name in the address bar, backspace over the  
digits for the day and/or month and/or year and type in the date you  
want and hit enter. You'll end up at the games for that date and skip  
some steps. This works for 2005 archives as well as 2006 ones.
