I have absolutely no such problems, and the new FireFox loads 
considerably faster than the old one. I'm using a dual 2 GHz G5 with 
OS X 10.4.8.  I also haven't seen those problems on any other PPC 
Macs I've worked on lately, and I have given them all FireFox 2.0.
