Of course I believe you. I just wrote to let you know that it isn't a 
PPC vs. MacTel problem, because my PPC doesn't exhibit that behavior 
in the slightest. So the problem lies elsewhere, not in  FireFox or 
the model of Mac that you are using.

I told you it worked for me to help you find the answer and not waste 
time blaming a possible wrong source of the problem.
